Leigh Reichard
Senior Veterinarian and Director (BVSc / BVBiol)
Leigh grew up in Zimbabwe before moving to Australia with her family in the early 2000's and working at a prestigious Feedlot where her family reside. Leigh had always envisioned becoming a Veterinarian and took all the chances and opportunities she could to make the dream a reality.
Whilst working full time at the Feedlot, Leigh completed a Traineeship through Emerald Ag College (Beef Cattle Production & Horses).
Leigh completed a dual degree in Veterinary Science and Veterinary Biology through Charles Sturt University, Wagga Wagga, NSW, after an initial 2yrs studying at UQ Gatton Campus.
Since graduating Leigh has worked in the Northern Territory & Central QLD areas, with tasks such as 'Vet on Board' Live Export ships to Israel and Indonesia, pregnancy and semen testing cattle, equine dentistry and tackling every other kind of small animal job in between.
In her short amount of downtime, Leigh can be found with her three boys at sports, home or spending time around her assortment of pets and horses.

Pauline Whitehouse
Senior Veterinarian (BVSc )
Dr Pauline graduated from UQ with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science and has been working as a Veterinarian for close to 30 years.
Dr Pauline was working with Wooroolin Vet Services on a casual basis when the Clinic was purchased and taken over in October 2024. Dr Leigh and Brendan are grateful that Dr Pauline decided to stay on board working in the Clinic from Tuesday to Thursday. She is an exceptional Surgeon with a wealth of experience!
Pauline Whitehouse

Dr Pauline graduated from UQ with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science and has been working as a Veterinarian for close to 30 years.

Tori Almond
Veterinarian (BVSc (Hons))
Dr Tori graduated with Honours from the UQ with a Veterinary Science Degree in 2024. She accepted her first position in the Veterinary profession with Wooroolin Vet Services.
Tori grew up in the South Burnett region and aims to further develop and cement her Veterinary skills locally as part of our Team at Wooroolin Vet Services. She has a keen interest in all things mixed practice!

Steve Kelly
Veterinarian (B.V.Sc.)
As the previous owner and operator of Wooroolin Veterinary Services, Steve offered to continue working a couple of days a week for Leigh and Brendan. This was an opportunity not to be passed up.
Steve graduated from the University of Queensland in 1981. He worked at various locations within rural Australia, including three years as a flying vet in the Kimberley's & the Northern Territory. Since then, Steve had owned and operated Vet surgeries in Redland Bay, Esk and in the South Burnett. Steve has a particular passion for horses & cattle. In his spare time, you'll find him out fishing or Clay Target Shooting!

Hannah Moyle
Veterinary Nurse (Cert 4 Veterinary Nursing)
Hannah began work as a Veterinary Nurse in July 2019 and has completed a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing. She has since completed further studies and continues to shine with her hunger for knowledge.
Hannah loves all aspects of Veterinary Nursing but is particularly passionate about animal nutrition and good management practices, believing prevention is better than cure.
Outside of work Hannah spends her time breeding and showing her Wyandotte chickens, as well as spending time at home with her husband and menagerie of animals. Originally growing up on a cattle property at Kilcoy, Hannah has extensive knowledge of many animals after years of experience providing animal husbandry.

On weekends she loves to fish, camp, and cook as well as travelling and exploring new places. Bri is a valuable asset to our Team, with an absolute passion for animals. In her spare time she also loves to spoil her own dogs. She is currently working towards her Cert 4 in Veterinary Nursing and close to completion!

Louise Cain

Louise was born and bred in Outback Qld, in a small town called Jundah, 200 kms south of Longreach. From a very young age she was passionate about caring and helping any abandoned or injured animal that came her way.
Louise began Vet Nursing in 2010, and loves every minute of her job. Louise says that ‘one day is never the same as the next’. Her days are full with her variety of animals at home along with raising her 4 young boys! Louise is currently completing her Cert 4 in Veterinary Nursing and assists WVS weekly with ensuring our Orders are placed.

Rachel has spent most of her working life in the animal industry, and has many years experience in the Retail Pet Industry and more recently, as part of the Veterinary world.
Born and raised in Murgon, Rachel is a keen rescue advocate. Rachel has 5 cats of her own, some dogs, fish and birds. On days off, she loves to dive head first into a great drama series and chill out with family. Her favourite part of Veterinary Nursing is the 'snuggles', and the satisfaction of knowing she has spent her day making a difference to an animal in need.

Growing up in an animal orientated family, Bonnie had pets from an early age. It had always been her passion to work in the animal industry.
When not in the Clinic, Bonnie spends her time training and competing with her horses, often travelling many kilometres for a weekend event. Her passion and experience with horses makes her a valuable team member, ensuring our Vets and Clients are always in good hands. Bonnie is currently completing her Cert 4 in Veterinary Nursing.

Grace is one of the newest members to the Wooroolin Vet Services Team. Grace has had experience working in a Dairy for several years and loves being around cows. Having grown up locally, we are grateful to have Grace on board and working with our Team whilst developing her skills as a Veterinary Nurse. She also has a soft touch when it comes to hydrobathing pets!

Brendan grew up in the Kingaroy and South Burnett area before heading off to University at UQ Gatton. Here he completed a Bachelor of Applied Science in Animal Studies with a focus on Production Animals. This was followed up a few years later when he completed a Master's Degree in Animal Science and Management.
Since leaving University, Brendan has worked many roles with Animal Health Companies, Fencing Companies, Feedmills, Rural Finance and Abattoirs. Many roles involved consistent travel and Brendan worked up and down most of the East Coast, Northern Territory and Northern Australia. Brendan has also worked for one of Australia's largest stock & station agent and Farm Supplies Companies, working with staff in a management position.
Brendan's role will be to assist staff and Leigh with all business requirements and look to get more occurring for the South Burnett with increased Veterinary staff and capabilities.
Outside of work, Brendan can be found working with some horses and taking Leigh and Brendan's 3 boys to various sporting activities.
